This past weekend I had the opportunity to work with a fabulous client from last year – this time rather than family portraits, we did a boudoir session.
Merium decided last year that she wanted to do this session – after booking initially she went on a weight loss journey and was only now ready to do her session (33 less pounds later!). She’s got a perfectly trim little waist and this is something she hasn’t been happy with for a lot of years. And when she first told me her age, I didn’t believe her …. there’s no way this woman is 58! Something she told me during out session stands out to me – she said she had melanoma about 10 years ago and she hopes pale is the new tanned – all I can say is that she clearly pulls it off!
When I see her in these images I see a lady of class, elegance, confidence, and of course beauty. She’s out there to prove to everyone that no matter what age you are, you’re gorgeous!
Merium, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these beautiful images of you! You are an inspiration to me, and to the many other women that will see these images! Congratulations on all of your completed goals in 2011 and I hope 2012 is even more amazing!
