My mom and brother made a deal probably about two years ago. My brother would train and run a half marathon with my mom and he completed it, she would have to skydive. Cody ran the race in April 2008, and my mom put off skydiving all last summer. She had to do it last weekend. My brother is an avid skydiver with a NUMBER of jumps under his belt, so that was reassuring to her (and me). She seemed fairly relaxed and calm for what she was about to do.

She did it, and said she might even do it again someday. That makes me almost want to do it now. Maybe next summer!

If you haven’t already noticed – I’ve switched my logo. I finally found one I love (a HUGE thank you goes out to Kim for designing it for me!) and I am in process of changing everything over to the new one. In the meantime, you may still see my old one hanging around – but don’t worry, it won’t be for long.
